Shoham is home to 11 FIRST teams. We support every one of them so they can learn, grow and rise — as a team, and as young leaders. Every mentor from our team is thoroughly trained before being assigned. We also co-founded Shoham's first FTC team, Super Cow, together with The Spikes, and opened a second FTC team, Electro Birds.

A series of science experiments we ran together with the town's kids during lockdown. Every experiment put the emphasis on a different scientific principle.

During the COVID-19 outbreak we published two worksheets of science and activities for the whole family — riddles, sport activities, games, experiments and more.

An activity for people with disabilities at the Shekel employment centre, in collaboration with Primo #4586. In small groups we built and programmed NXT robot systems to pass an obstacle course, showed our robot and explained about FIRST and the competitions we take part in.

Every year we take part in the annual Celebration in Green in the Shoham forest, running an activity for the community about science, recycling and the quality of nature. Everyone goes home with something they can actually use.

Together with about 70 kids from Shoham we built homemade cameras at the Oshpezoom, an activity programme run by the parents' board of our hometown.

Every year we take part in Shoham's Muzot festival. Among the many stands, it is hard to miss the team's — our robot, a science activity and an introduction to the team and to FIRST.

Together with Round Table and My Friend we created a dog adoption fair and fundraiser, with game stands and science experiments for the kids.
